We have a specific aviation safety center which is legally responsible for the planning, regulation, execution and supervision of all brazilian aviation (both civil and military) accidents prevention activities.

The Aeronautical Accidents Prevention and Investigation Center (CENIPA) and its regional offices are also resonsible for all civil aviation safety investigations in the country, as well as the provision of safety training and capacitation. CENIPA is under the Aeronautical Commander authority and not under the CAA.
