1. Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji Islands (CAAFI) is responsible for Safety Oversight of airlines & airports including air traffic control, rescue fire & security, licensing of personnel and airports, aircraft registration and the certification of Operators of Aircraft and the Licensing of Aircrews and Airports.
2. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Civil Aviation continues to be responsible for Air Transport Licensing, Air Traffic Rights Negotiations, Accident Investigation and Legal Issues on Air Transport Issues.
3. Airports Fiji Ltd (AFL) is responsible for the Operation of Airports, Security & the provision of Air Navigation Services.
